Kivu Colorado
KIVU COLORADO is located in the Southwest corner of Colorado, just outside of Durango. The camp is nestled in a valley in the San Juan Mountains right on the Pine River.
At KIVU COLORADO, campers may choose from several outdoor activities. They will have the opportunity to backpack to 14,000 feet in the San Juans. They can choose to Mountain Bike on the trails that hosted the 2004 World Cup and the NORBA championships. They can white water raft and kayak on the Animas River. They can fly fish and road bike and wake board. KIVU COLORADO is an adventure waiting to happen.
KIVU COLORADO also gives the campers the opportunity to sit under the teaching of Andy Braner and other world renowned teachers as they learn about their faith and how their faith relates them to their world. They learn worldviews and apologetics. They will be taught about world religions and they will become aware of the peoples of the world. They will learn how their faith affects the way they view dating, entertainment and other areas of their lives. These teaching times make KIVU COLORADO unique among Christian outdoor and sports camps.
