The Camping industry is an important part of growing up.  In 1960 over 60% of the U.S. population had some sort of camping experience.  In 1990, only 30% claimed to have a camping adventure in their own growing up story.  The beauty of what can happen on a retreat type environment is the disconnection from Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube.  I believe the Social Media outlets can have a tremendous advantage to communication, but sometimes it's necessary to put down the iPhone, iPad, and video game control unit to learn what it means to be human.

Coupled with a downturn in economy, the Camping industry as a whole is feeling the weight of social change.  If you're interested in helping KIVU continue to provide a BEST IN CLASS experience to teenagers from around the world.  CLICK HERE for our Online Donation Module, where you can help monthly, bi-annualy, or yearly with your financial giving assistance.

We thank you in advance for your generous support of what God is doing in the hearts and minds of teenagers.  It is ever more important to help our kids survive in a culture that is leading them toward more and more lonely living.  Here at KIVU it is our intention to help them understand how to LOVE GOD, and LOVE OTHERS.

Thank you
